"Katie absolutely loves Windsor Mountain and I think she would like to spend the rest of her life there. Katie's experience of creating new friendships was the greatest area of learning and growth she had this past summer."

Life At Windsor Mountain International

Campers love the "Bubble", the name that has described the Windsor Mountain camp experience for decades. Windsor Mountain balances structure and freedom. We encourage each camper to help influence the life of the community and create a personal schedule – Directed Free Choice – that suits each camper's particular interests.

Morning Meeting

Each day starts with a wake up call from the old bell ringing high in the bell tower above the dining hall. After breakfast and cleanup, it's off to the Pine Grove for morning meeting. Here the camp community shares ideas, sings, presents skits, tells stories, raises community issues, makes announcements, and offers program suggestions.

Daily Schedule

Four activity periods provide a structure for each day. There is ample time for campers to visit one another, play music, finish arts and craft projects, take extra lessons or rehearse for a play, swim, boat, climb on the ropes course, or play any one of a dozen or more different sports.

Evening Activities

As the sun goes down, the evening brings with it all–camp activities, such as campfire sings, dances, sports, and talent shows. On special evenings, counselors offer a choice of things to do: music classes, new games, drama and dance performances, moonlight soccer, swimming before it gets dark, overnight camping on the big island on Boulder Lake.
