I loved the variety of the camps and performance locations like Pine Tree Camp (for adults with disabilities), the Children's Hospital, street theater performances, and Faneuil Hall." "I definitely feel like my acting and stage presence has improved on this program. Any stage fright that I have had has been overcome. I've learned how to deal with people even when you are with them all the time. That was probably the hardest part. My cooking skills have improved and I no longer fear the kitchen." "Zako now accepts, maybe even embraces, a piece of himself that I think he used to keep quiet. He's more comfortable with all of who he is." Parent,
Enjoy a summer of performing arts, Who Should Participate? This program is intended for students who have the desire to experiment in performing arts, want to make friends, and who enjoy traveling, camping and the outdoors. This program is designed for students who want to try theatre for the first time, as well as those who already have some stage experience. Students need to be ready for the challenges of working and living together as a small, close-knit ensemble, and should arrive with an open mind and a willingness to take risks onstage! As with all our programs, students will not be allowed to bring cell phones and may only communicate once or twice with their families during the program, though families are encouraged to attend performances when possible.
