What is Family Camp? Family Camp is a great opportunity to enjoy camp with friends and family: Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles can personally experience the exciting activities and community spirit that campers talk about all year. Alumni can reminisce about memorable camp moments while singing Purple Lilacs, The Rattling Bog and other favorites. Intergenerational family members can enjoy time together in a beautiful, rustic, healthy and fun-filled atmosphere. Prospective campers and their families can get a taste of camp life to see if Windsor Mountain might be the right camp for them. Come alone or with a crowd to enjoy and have a great time! Activities: Relaxed and informal, summer camp staff and special guests will offer a variety of optional activities daily. Feel free to participate in group activities or take advantage of Boulder Lake and the surrounding 2000 acre wilderness preserve for family explorations. Wake up to the sound of the school house bell Contra dance to live music Sing around the campfire under a starry sky Jump in the lake after a steaming sauna Meditate in the Red Pine Forest Hike to Trout Pond Canoe up the Farimaki Swamp Create a clay sculpture Hit a home run Swim the triangle Paint a masterpiece Shoot some hoops Sail around Blueberry Island Jam with other amateur musicians Show off your 100 mph tennis serve Mountain bike along old logging roads Dust off your creativity for the talent show RELAX!!! Facilities: Families will stay together in: Rustic Cabins (sleeps 8-14, toilet & sink inside, showers nearby) Adirondack Shelters(sleeps 4, facilities nearby) The Treehouse (sleeps 3-8 in adjoining rooms, facilities nearby) Delicious meals (always with a vegetarian alternative) served in the dining hall, Tuesday dinner through Saturday lunch.
